In January 2010 Scott joined Paul Kouppas to co-found Explore Engage to specialise connecting digital assets to the real world view in real time. Explore Engage is an international leader in augmented reality providing 3D experiences across advertising, marketing, gaming, retail, property and many other verticals across many different devices.

AR is defined as real time animation superimposed on your real time view of the world and is usually performed through a camera device.  AR solves marketing and utility problems by contextualising data or images for an informative or entertaining simulation, feedback, brand recall, in situ placement and a mixed reality to assist in making decisions or creating a magical experience.

Interestingly O’Brien is related to Edward H O’Brien who previously owned Pink Pages and APN. Should be a most interesting evening with some great live demos!
