As an intern, what do you expect from your internship and the company who provides it? You expect experience, guidance, help and career opportunities.

I am happy to say that I have found most of these at Explore Engage. Unlike some other companies out there, which do not give any “real” professional tasks to their interns, Explore Engage are relatively dedicated to letting the interns receive as much knowledge and experience as they are trying to get. The amount of information you can learn and skills you can acquire solely depend on your desire to learn, to know and to succeed in the professional environment.

I have already been interning at Explore Engage for a couple of months and this experience has helped me develop many necessary skills and improved my knowledge in augmented reality, social media, marketing and, of course, public relations. Moreover, exciting daily tasks have been making my internship experience thrilling and rewarding.

I have never considered myself a person that has a slightest clue about contemporary technology, mobile applications and something as intriguing as augmented reality. Working at Explore Engage helped me make sense of all the geeky concepts and cutting-edge technology, which is out there. In the process of learning, I have received necessary help and assistance that made my learning process easy and straightforward. I was taught how to write media releases for mobile applications, contact journalists and news websites, write articles about augmented reality and research information. My knowledge of social media has definitely improved, since I’ve started this internship, and I was encouraged to create Linkedin, Twitter and Klout accounts to facilitate my involvement in social media and boost my career opportunities.

I have also enjoyed my experience with Explore Engage so far, due to the fact that I felt a certain amount of freedom and flexibility in relation to how I am supposed to execute tasks and projects. Explore Engage provided guidelines, however, did not restrict my creativity and ideas, facilitating my professional growth.

As a company, Explore Engage have not been in business for a long time, however, working with them proved that company’s dedication, resources and creativity will guarantee success. I am sure that the company will continue growing and producing numerous projects and I am happy to be part of this process.

     What can I say about working for Explore Engage?

Explore Engage is an entrepreneurial start-up company that is pioneering tomorrow’s technology today. To me it is a good training ground for any interns looking forward to have their stake at today’s competitive market as an emerging marketing professional.

I chose to do my internship here because I believe ‘Explore Engage’ is going to be one of the biggest players for the future. My time there has taught me how augmented reality will be the biggest breakthrough in mass communications.

The achievements that I have accomplished at this company extend to both the marketing aspect as well as the business development side of my internship. Both of these have further honed my skills as a marketer and how to identify opportunities within the market.

I was predominantly doing market research such as web analytics, current technology breakthroughs and understand how to find relevant information. I appreciate the opportunity in finding out how integral it is to know as much about your competitors to be able to develop solutions that will make your clients standout.

Explore Engage have taught me to develop my online profile, such as LinkedIn and Klout. They are important for how I will grow as a marketer in the future and be an influential person both in and out of the digital realm.

In summation of my time I believe I have honed my skills and be better prepared to become a marketing professional.

At the moment I am finishing my Advanced Marketing Diploma in one of Sydney’s Colleges.

I found an advertisement while seeking a job and my eyes stuck on “Internship in Explore Engage”. It seemed to be a good opportunity to learn new skills.

From day one I felt very welcome, everyone is helpful and friendly. I was happy to see other students here doing an internship as well as we’re all working in the group which is fun. Michael and Scott are taking good care of us and take their time to explain every task very clearly.

I’ve been here for a month now and I have learned a lot more about social media as well as created and improved my own social media profiles which will help me in the job search in the future. Mostly I have been researching competitors and/or different products that has helped me to learn.

I now have a clear picture what augmented reality is as I wasn’t aware of it before.

It has been really great experience so far.
