It’s a new version of Starbucks Cup Magic app that allows customers to send and receive virtual Valentine messages. By scanning limited edition Valentine’s Day themed cups people could watch their cup come to life. They could also use it to send a Starbucks Card eGift!

This Vid was made as a Graduate Thesis in “Computer Graphics and Multimedia Design” at the Faculty of Architecture “Valle Giulia”. The main theme of the Treaty is “Augmented Reality”, and how this technology might affect the way we learn. The thesis consisted of making a short film that demonstrates the applicability of this technology and how it could change the way we learn and study.

This Augmented Architectural Demonstration is a new way of presenting 3D Architectural Models with the help of augmented reality. Users can interact with the 3D model of a property which is disassembled into independent floors through an animation. This product can be used to present properties and attract prospective clients. This Augmented Architectural Demonstration demo uses poster tracker technology.

The Society of Nuclear Medicine used Augmented reality as a Sales tool for their Annual Meeting. The Video demonstrates Gantry systems.

“Er is post!” is a quarterly magazine from the Dutch national postal service PostNL that is delivered to every household in The Netherlands – over 6 million homes in total. In the latest issue, the pages have been enhanced to allow every home in Holland to interact with print media in a whole new way.

The USA Pentagon (DARPA) ordered prototypes of iOptik displays that use special contact lenses so a person can focus both on images shown on the lenses and far-away objects in augmented reality.

The contact lenses have a filter that allows a person to focus on images at a very close and far-away objects at the same time. That means people can see both images projected on the inside of the spectacle’s lenses and whatever is in front of them. The contact lens-based system also provides a wider field of view than other heads-up displays.

The augmented-reality system could be used for immersive games or to have mobile 3-D television, since it could show two separate images on both lenses.

In the military, it could be used for simulation and training, covert operations, or to perhaps show images from remote drones to a soldier in the field.

ACTIVATE: Download the “Your Smurf” App. Then locate the “The Smurfs” 4 Play box, available exclusively at JB Hi Fi or the limited activation image. The app will only work with “The Smurfs 4 Play” Box or limited activated image. Once located, launch the “Your Smurf” App and point your camera at “The Smurfs 4 Play” box to view the entire front cover or a print out of the limited activation image. Watch Clumsy Smurf come to life.

PLAY: Once Clumsy appears, players can interact with him in a number of ways:

· Tickle – Touch Clumsy to tickle him and make double over with laughter.
· Walk – Touch anywhere on the “Four Play” box visible on your phone screen to make a mushroom appear. Clumsy will walk to this mushroom.
· Picture Pose 1 – select the Clumsy Image Icon to make Clumsy assume a cool dance pose. Clumsy will hold this pose until you touch the “4 Play” box visible on your phone screen. Take a picture with Clumsy and then upload to Facebook or save it to your camera roll.
· Picture Pose 2 – select the Thumb Icon to make Clumsy assume a thumbs up pose. Clumsy will hold this pose until you touch the “4 Play” box visible on your phone screen. Take a picture with Clumsy and then upload to Facebook or save it to your camera roll.
